Why does my Vivi Cure feel like there’s clay or gel inside?
Vivi Cure uses a saturated saltwater solution inside a vapor-permeable membrane. Over time, packs that have been sitting in storage can develop this clay-like or gelatinous texture.
This texture is just a natural state of the solution, and does not compromise Vivi Cure’s effectiveness. You can massage the pack to make it feel more fluid again, but it’s not necessary.
After use, your Vivi Cure may feel as though it’s full of liquid—and it is! That’s the saltwater solution plus the excess moisture Vivi Cure has been absorbing for 10 days.
That’s why you must discard Vivi Cure after one use: it’s no longer calibrated to cure with precision. Using a spent pack will result in improper curing conditions and could lead to overdrying or mold.
